You Belong at The Mill!

The Mill offers a wide range of monthly and annual events and programs for coworkers and freelancers, startups and entrepreneurs, and the general public. Get to know us! The best way to start is to drop in on Community Day. On the third Thursday of every month, The Mill is open to the public; take a tour, try out our coworking space for free, and grab a bite on us with members and the public at COLLIDE, our popular lunch-time speaker program.

Check our events calendar for an overview of what’s coming up. Our newsletter, delivered a couple times a month, keeps you in the loop of what’s happening at The Mill and around Bloomington.

COLLIDE at Community Day

Once a month, The Mill opens our coworking space to the public. Try it out for a day for free, and mingle with our members and others from the community at special lunchtime programs, like our popular COLLIDE series.

Every third Thursday–it’s a thing–The Mill hosts COLLIDE on Community Day, one of our most popular programs. Grab a lunch on us, check out our short chat with a featured special guest, and enjoy casual conversations with other local independents, entrepreneurs, creatives, techies, doers, freelancers, thinkers, and makers. You can stick around and cowork for the whole Community Day, or just pop in for COLLIDE. Be there!

South Bend Code School is not just for South Bend! The Mill hosts a Bloomington session where kids learn the power of coding by programming their own games, projects, and websites. A future in tech is possible for anyone–SB Code School lights the way.

Kids leave the program excited about tech and equipped with computer science skills that will serve them well later in life. But for today, it’s just plain fun!

All classes are held at The Mill and taught by SB Code School.

“At The Mill, our Bloomington South Bend Code School students learn in an environment that fosters creativity and innovation. It’s exciting to offer classes in a place that supports our mission and work, and allows our business to build community with other Bloomington entrepreneurs.” – Jane Bokamp, South Bend Code School Bloomington Instructor
