As we approach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the milestones we’ve achieved together and share exciting plans for the future of The Mill. Your unwavering support has made all the difference, helping us nurture innovation, entrepreneurship, and community growth in Bloomington.

This year marks six years since The Mill opened its doors, and we’ve come a long way. Together, we’ve built a vibrant ecosystem that supports local startups and garners state and national recognition. Highlights include:

• Seven Mira Awards for excellence in entrepreneurship and innovation, with nominations for nine more!
• Launching the Indiana Uplands Accelerator, driving regional startups to new heights.
• Celebrating the 20th Crossroads competition, now a cornerstone for showcasing Midwest startups.
• Bloomington Remote set a record for individuals moved this year, a 25% increase, making Bloomington an even stronger destination for remote workers.
• Bloomington ranked as the 3rd most active city for Global Entrepreneurship Week, and The Mill earned recognition as the 8th most active organization worldwide, underscoring our growing reputation on the global stage.
• Code/IT expanded into five more counties, bringing opportunities for upskilling and career advancement to even more communities in Indiana.
