Name Our Street

The new street, between Tenth and Eleventh Streets, and perpendicular to Rogers Street.

The Trades District is a new neighborhood in downtown Bloomington that’s built around innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. There’s a lot of construction going on – including the renovation of a 100+ year old factory called The Mill, the restoration of 10th Street and Madison Street, and the creation of a brand new street that will run from Rogers Street into the heart of the Trades District.

The Mill will be ground zero for Bloomington’s creative community, so we’re calling on all of Bloomington’s creative minds to help us name the street! In partnership with the City of Bloomington, we are holding a contest to choose the name. 10 finalists will be chosen and an online vote will determine which name will be submitted for approval by the Bloomington Board of Public Works and City Council.

Anyone can make a suggestion, and we want to hear from you! Submit as many name suggestions as you like. Please fill out the form below to propose a street name!
